US Compliance
Updated: October 10, 2026
Avisenza gives US businesses tools to help them follow the main federal and state rules. Here is what the software does for you.
Text messages (TCPA)
Separate consent: consent to promotional messages is asked separately, never pre-checked, and is never a condition of purchase.
Every promotional text names the business and says “STOP”; a STOP reply (or any clear opt-out wording) is recorded and honored right away.
Promotional texts are sent only during allowed hours, in the customer's local time, never on a holiday.
Emails (CAN-SPAM)
Every email shows the sender and the business's postal address, and includes an unsubscribe link that works right away.
Customer reviews (FTC, 16 CFR Part 465)
The review link is offered to ALL customers, happy or not: no review gating.
No gift is tied to a positive review; Avisenza rejects texts that offer one.
Subscriptions (ROSCA)
Memberships (e.g. gyms) have a simple “Cancel online” button; the request is time-stamped and kept as proof.
Total price
Advertised prices can include all mandatory fees, to follow all-in pricing rules (for example in California).
Sales tax
The state sales tax rate is suggested; the business enters its own local tax (city / county).
Health
The “Health clinic” category is not offered in the United States (HIPAA rules).
Important
These tools help you; they do not replace legal advice. Each business remains responsible for following the laws that apply to it: consult your legal advisor.
